The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles defeated the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 9-1, at Mercer Island Grounds. Mercer Island third baseman César Enríques was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The last-place Fighting Imps have lost 4 straight games.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Mercer Island Grounds crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.
