Jiménez Sensational for Uruguayans
The Germantown Uruguayans picked up a win at Ballpark of Albuquerque, knocking off the Ogallala Octopi, 6-0. Starting pitcher José Jiménez, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Uruguayans have an impressive 40-25 record.

In his 111-pitch effort, Jiménez allowed no earned runs on 5 hits over 8.1 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 9.

"José was throwing strikes, locating well," said Germantown manager Kyle Bass.
