Ft. Worth catcher Min-gook Ch'oe was instrumental in his team's 12-9 win over the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC. Ch'oe went 3-6 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Cattlemen. Ft. Worth reliever WyDale Curry picked up the win to move to 1-1. Mike Hess suffered the loss. Ft. Worth bumps their record to 22-23 with the win.

This game was not decided until Blake Browning came to bat in the top of the 15th. With runners on 1st and 3rd and no one out, the Ft. Worth right fielder hit a sacrifice fly. The Cattlemen took the lead, 9-8.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Ch'oe said. "We did a good job of that today."
