A 3-RBI performance from Alfred Howard Biggs, who is tied for 6th in the 3R in triples with 2, helped the Northwest Territory Beavers beat the Germantown Uruguayans, 7-4. Rob Bates got the win, improving to 4-1. He held the Uruguayans to 4 earned runs on 5 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Claude Richardson finished to wrap up his 8th save.

With Northwest Territory leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Biggs hit a splitter from Kimmo-Mikka Jokinen for a 2-run double. It was his 9th double of the season and put the Beavers ahead, 4-1.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Biggs. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

The Beavers improved to a lofty 20-7.
