Canucks Get Road Win, 2-1

The Canucks grabbed a win, 2-1, at Lawmen Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Franklin pitcher Will Bass. Bass went 9 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Theo Von Heezik notched his 8th save in 9 chances. Even with the win, the Canucks have a dismal 26-65 record.
Moose Jaw took a 2-1 lead on Jeremy Watson's 7th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Franklin pitcher Will Bass in the top of the seventh.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Watson said.
