Bethlehem got a terrific performance from pitcher Pat Pierce, but it wasn't enough to beat the Northwest Territory Beavers. Northwest Territory won the Kittie Park contest, 3-1. Pierce was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. Northwest Territory reliever Aaron Rigsby picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-0. Francisco Díaz was collared with the loss. Claude Richardson was called on to finish, recording his 6th save.
Alfred Howard Biggs made it 3-1 in favor of Northwest Territory when he delivered a 2-run single. It came with one out in the top of the tenth. The Beavers went on to win.
