The Northwest Territory Beavers picked up a win at Beaver Town, knocking off the Greenport Harbor Whales, 3-2. On the mound for Northwest Territory was left-hander Thomas Canó, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Harbor Whales drop to 5-8 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2041 season.
Bang-xao Li aided the Northwest Territory cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman was 1-3 with a double.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Northwest Territory manager Tom Carlson.
