Baby Blues Top Canucks Behind Wells, 2-0
|
Dylan Park was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.
Quebec City Baby Blues starter Norm Wells was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Moose Jaw Canucks, 2-0. Esteban Arroyo converted his 6th save in 6 tries.
Wells, a native of Toronto, Canada, was dealing all game. He kept Moose Jaw hitters off-balance, while giving the Baby Blues 8 quality innings. Wells threw 88 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 7.
"This is a very good team," said Wells. "We have the chance to do something special."
The Baby Blues bumped their record to 36-27 with this latest triumph.
