Warheads Come Back Late to Top Snowpeople
Ellesmere Island pitcher Adam Wright gave the Warheads all they could handle, but in the end, Amarillo left The Igloo with a 5-4 win. Wright allowed no earned runs on 4 hits over 5 innings. Amarillo has now won 3 in a row.

Amarillo used the bat of Michael Carlton to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Warheads ahead, 5-4. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Carlton told the Amarillo Observer.
