Quebec City right-hander Ronald Fritz made an effective start against the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople at Dylan Park, leading his team to a 5-2 win. Esteban Arroyo locked down his 4th save. The Baby Blues sit in 4th place in the Silver R with a record of 33-24.

Qing-lai Mak had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the eighth for the Baby Blues. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Quebec City trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run single.

"Enjoyed this one," Fritz told the Quebec City Gazette. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
