The Franklin Fire finished things off in style today at Lawmen Ballpark.

Franklin beat Valley View at Lawmen Ballpark, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Pedro Rodríguez, who earned player of the game honors. Jorge Leyva picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Domingo García was tagged with the loss.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Franklin trailing 3-2, Gabriel Serrano hit a fastball from Domingo García for a 2-run home run, giving the Fire the walk-off win.

"It was a good effort all around," said Serrano.

The Fire improve their record to 31-23 with the win over Valley View.
