Wright Now 4-3 After Subduing Fire

The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople racked up a win at The Igloo, bumping off the Franklin Fire, 1-0. Adam Wright, who started for Ellesmere Island, pitched effectively for his team. The Snowpeople go to 16-27, putting them 9th in the Silver R.
The Snowpeople liked what they saw from Wright. The 19-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Fire to no earned runs on 5 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 9.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Wright.
