Shockers Bang Out 6-3 Win Versus Amarillo
The Surprise Shockers picked up a win at Ballpark of Henderson, knocking off the Amarillo Warheads, 6-3. Starting pitcher Jim Murray played a key role in the triumph. Jonathan Cooper was credited with the save for Surprise, his 4th of the season. The 6th-place Warheads have lost 4 straight games.

Surprise used the timely hitting of Robbie McClellan to capture the win. The second baseman stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the Shockers on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Murray told the Surprise Citizen.
