Victory Over Rams Takes Quebec City to 21-13
The Quebec City Baby Blues beat the Ladue Rams, 6-3, at Dylan Park. The Baby Blues got a fine performance from designated hitter George McLean, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. Domingo Jones earned the save for Quebec City, his 8th. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Baby Blues.

The Rams had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Baby Blues going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 18-year old center fielder Gregory Jones came to the plate. Jones hit a run-scoring single on a first pitch cutter from Ladue hurler Nathan Eldridge. It was Jones's 31st hit of the year.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said McLean. "And not try to do too much."
