Ru Hits 2 home runs in Snowpeople Win
|
The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople bested the Ladue Rams by a score of 7-5, with third baseman Kuan Ru getting the main credit. On the day, Ru hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Snowpeople. Ellesmere Island is 8th in the Silver R with a record of 13-20.
Ellesmere Island grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Ru, who is tied for 2nd in the SR in bases on balls with 17, hit a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Snowpeople out in front, 6-4.
