Bowties Shut Out Cattlemen
|
In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
Buckhead Bowties starter Leon von Stroheim was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 7-0. The Bowties are now 18-13, while the Cattlemen fall to 14-17.
It could have been a different outcome for Buckhead, had it not been for Tony Manzanares, the 32-year old catcher . Manzanares contributed a 2-run triple in the top of the first inning to put Buckhead up, 3-0.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Manzanares said.
