Snowpeople Continue Skid Thanks to Perales, Canucks
The Moose Jaw Canucks knocked off the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 9-5, at The Igloo. Gonzalo Perales was named player of the game for Moose Jaw. He hit 3 singles and 1 double, while driving in 2 runs. Moose Jaw reliever Theo Von Heezik was the winner. His record is now 3-0. Al Maxwell took the loss. Moose Jaw used the timely hitting of Michael Hudson to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Canucks on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We came out aggressive," said Canucks manager Bobby Davis. "We came out swinging the bats."
