Flanderses Topple Fire with Late Rally
Hudsonville center fielder John Allen made his presence felt in the 8-6 Flanderses triumph over the Franklin Fire. Allen went 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Hudsonville improves to 6-5 as they look to defend their championship.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Allen hit a cutter from Kwan-yew Khu for a 2-run home run. The Flanderses, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Allen told the Hudsonville Gazette.
