Turner on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Ellesmere Island

It was high-fives all around for Steve Turner at The Igloo today.
He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople. Turner smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 4-3 win.
"Steve was hitting everything," said Baby Blues manager Kyle Myers. "It really was a special game for him."
In the opposing dugout, Snowpeople manager Rich Hunter told BNN beat writers that Turner "ambushed" the club.
"Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," he said. "Hopefully, Turner oversleeps next time."
Steve Turner singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
