|
Long Island turned a good effort from starter Jae-ho Kan into a win over the Memphis Music at Ducks Park. The final score was 4-2. Everton Stirzacre converted his 5th save in 5 tries. The third-place Ducks have won 8 in a row.
Kan tossed 94 pitches over 8 innings to clinch the win for the Ducks. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits, while racking up 10 strikeouts in the game.
"That's the key at this level, throwing strike one," said Kan. "Successful pitchers do it."
