Crowley Cajuns starter Lewis Goodman turned in a top-notch performance against the Montgomery Biscuits at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. The result was a win for the Cajuns, 5-2. Goodman got the win, improving to 6-5. He allowed 3 hits and walked 0 over 6 innings. Goodman allowed no earned runs. Montgomery's current losing streak has reached 4 games.
It could have been a different outcome for Crowley, had it not been for Allan Selkirk, the 18-year old catcher . Selkirk contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put Crowley up, 3-0.
