In a well-pitched game between the Twinsburg Tigers and the Memphis Music, pitcher Tadao Ishihara was superb. The Twinsburg right-hander was named the player of the game in Twinsburg's 3-1 win. Memphis has now lost 5 straight.
The Tigers liked what they saw from Ishihara. The 19-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Music to no earned runs on 3 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 9.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Ishihara told the Twinsburg Times.
