Hussain goes 3-for-5, Leads Ducks to Win
The Long Island Ducks topped the Montgomery Biscuits, 8-2, with designated hitter Bilal Hussain playing a big role. Hussain was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Ducks in the win. Everton Stirzacre picked up the win with 6.2 innings of work. He allowed 2 earned runs on 10 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 2-2. The 4th-place Ducks raised their record to 45-36.

Long Island used the timely hitting of Rob Fuller to capture the win. The catcher stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the Ducks on top, 5-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Fuller said.
