Biscuits Get Past Crowley for 2-1 Win
Montgomery right-hander Albert Zalazar helped his team edge Crowley by the score of 2-1. Zalazar kept the opposing lineup in check. Zalazar, now 7-5, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. Félix Torres converted his 7th save in 11 tries.

Montgomery used the timely hitting of Yoshitora Nakayama to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Biscuits on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Zalazar told the Montgomery Observer.

Even with the win, the Biscuits have a dismal 24-51 record.
