Memphis rode a good effort from starter Daniel O'Toole to beat the Montgomery Biscuits at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. The final score was 4-1. Otto Mathews converted his 4th save in 5 tries. The Music saw their win-loss record go to 38-32. At the same time, the Biscuits fell to 22-48.
Memphis used a timely hit from Luis Flores to get the win. The first baseman delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Music on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We take it day by day here," said O'Toole, "and today was a good one for us."
