Lostedt 'Lights Out' in Long Island Win
Long Island right-hander Jalmari Lostedt was sensational in shutting out the Redwood Rhinos, 6-0. Long Island now sits in third place in the Premier R at 34-26.

Lostedt, a native of Lappeenranta, Finland, was dealing all game. He kept Redwood hitters off-balance, while giving the Ducks 7 quality innings. Lostedt threw 102 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 10.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Lostedt told the Long Island Daily. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
