Twinsburg beat Montgomery on the strength of starter Tadao Ishihara's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. António del Pozo earned the save, his 9th, for the Tigers. The 5th-place Tigers now have a 6-game winning streak.

Twinsburg used the timely hitting of Raúl Rosa to capture the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Tigers on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"It was a solid team effort," said Rosa after the game.
