Woods, Otters Get 5-0 Win
|
The Tulsa Otters went home winners at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Kent Woods. Woods silenced the Montgomery Biscuits, enabling Tulsa to grab the 5-0 win. The save was credited to Mario Rosales, his 7th. The Otters have an impressive 31-19 record.
Woods scattered 5 hits over 8 innings for the Otters. With the win, Woods moves to 2-2 on the year with 39 strikeouts.
"It's good to win," Woods told the Tulsa Herald. "I like to have fun doing it."
