The Long Island Ducks got a strong performance from pitcher Bailey O'Donnell, who stymied the Montgomery offense en route to a 6-2 win at Ducks Park. The win was Jerome Henderson's in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Arturo Sánchez took the loss for Montgomery. Long Island's record now stands at 23-20, placing them third in the Premier R.

George Samuels went 1 for 3 with a walk for Long Island. The 19-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Stu Sutherland. It was his 5th walk of the season.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Samuels told the Long Island Daily.
