Otters Walk Off with 5-4 Win
|
The Tulsa Otters picked up a win at Ballpark of Hughesville, knocking off the Indiana Lead Sox, 5-4. On the mound for Tulsa was left-hander Horace Cope, who played a pivotal role in the win. The first-place Otters have a one-game lead in their division.
Late in the game, second baseman Jason Pruitt had a big at-bat for Tulsa. In the bottom of the 16th, he hit a run-scoring single off Carlos Hernández. The play gave the Otters a 5-4 lead.
Pruitt said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
