The Montgomery Biscuits knocked off the Memphis Music, 3-0, at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Ricardo Ojíto, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Montgomery won. The right fielder was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. Montgomery reliever Alfredo Rincón was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Ron Lucas took the loss for Memphis. Costanzo Miniato finished the game for Montgomery and earned his 3rd save.
Early in the game, second baseman Dave Dickey had a 2-run double for Montgomery. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Biscuits on top, 2-0.
"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Dickey.
The Music, now 5-9, continue their slow start.
