Northern Lions BC Lose to Cattlemen, 6-4
|
The Ft. Worth Cattlemen topped the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 6-4, in United States Silver League action at The Cattle Pen. The player of the game was Ft. Worth pitcher and New Castle, Indiana native Allen Werner. The Northern Lions BC fall to 8-12 and continue their uneven start to the 2041 season.
Count Dante put Ft. Worth in front, 3-2, when he took Marnix van Rijn downtown. His 2-run home run came with two out in the bottom of the third. It was his 4th home run of the season.
"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Dante told the Ft. Worth News.
