Chicago right fielder Doug Pollock was instrumental in his team's 14-13 win over the Lake Erie Arryns. Pollock, who is tied for 10th in the PA in home runs with 8, went 4-6 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Gold Sox. Chicago reliever Nick Campbell picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-3. Daniel Tucker was collared with the loss. The Gold Sox go to 28-46, putting them 9th in the Premier A.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Pollock. Facing Daniel Tucker with the bases loaded, the Chicago right fielder had a run-scoring walk. Game over, walk-off style!

"This place went bonkers at the end," Pollock said.
