Crawdads Stay Hot, Beat Smokies
Cut Off center fielder Vicente Perales was instrumental in his team's 9-5 win over the Tennessee Smokies. Perales, who leads the PA in runs scored with 43, went 1-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Crawdads. Cut Off starter Trevor Bowden was credited with the win after throwing 92 pitches over 5.1 innings. His record now stands at 4-5. The Crawdads, at 42-28, have now won 5 straight.

Habib Othman had a chance to do some damage in the bottom of the sixth. With Tennessee trailing 9-1, Tennessee had runners on 1st and 3rd. Othman grounded out, driving in 1 run. But it was not enough. Tennessee would not finish the comeback.
