Vibes Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras

Benefiting from an exceptional performance from William Anderson, the Rocky Mountain Vibes defeated the Kent Comets, 7-4. Anderson went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Vibes. Rocky Mountain reliever Kenny Pollock was the winner. His record is now 3-4. Jorge Pagán took the loss. Zachary Loseby recorded the save for Rocky Mountain, his 1st of the season.
Rocky Mountain used the timely hitting of David Mooney to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Vibes on top, 7-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Good win for us, tough loss for them," said Mooney.
Their 42-24 record puts the Vibes second in the Premier A.
