The Kent Comets knocked off the Rocky Mountain Vibes, 6-5, at Fuller Park. Brian Myers, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Kent won. The first baseman was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Gypsyamber D'Souza recorded his 10th save for Kent. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Comets.
Jesús Muñíz helped out the Kent cause in the bottom of the third inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the third baseman went 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Kent manager Noel Ballard.
