Hot Start Continues for Crawdads
The Crawdads faced a stiff challenge from South Beach pitcher Bobby Dunn, but persevered to claim a win at The Ballpark on the Beach. The final score was 4-2. Dunn went 5 innings and allowed no earned runs. The save went to Patrick Robison, his 4th this season. Cut Off, now 6-1, is setting the league on fire so far.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and two out in the top of the sixth inning. That's when center fielder Archie Pittman, the 19th overall pick in the 2038 draft, drew a walk. The Crawdads went on to win.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Cut Off manager Michael Garrett.
