Generals Subdue Niagara Falls, 4-2
|
Washington starter Jung-ho Yi pitched effectively against the Niagara Falls Expos at Waterfall Park. The left-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. Randy Keith, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 25th save. Washington has now won 3 in a row.
Washington second baseman Ramón García helped his team take an early lead. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Washington skipper Willie Mitchell.
