Mina Sensational for Generals
|
The 2041 season is getting ugly for Niagara Falls.
Washington right-hander Ricky Mina was sensational in shutting out the Niagara Falls Expos, 1-0. Randy Keith converted his 24th save in 25 tries.
The Expos had trouble solving Mina, who surrendered no earned runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Niagara Falls manager Alan Manor. "The effort was great."
At 42-46, the Generals are currently 6th in the Silver A.
