The Washington Generals picked up a win at The Coffin, knocking off the Grim Reapers, 5-2. On the mound for Washington was right-hander Luis Medina, who played a pivotal role in the win. Randy Keith notched his 23rd save in 24 chances. The 6th-place Generals have won 4 straight games.

Washington needed the clutch hitting of Ramón García to notch the win. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Generals on top, 4-1. For the game, García had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
