Delaware 1787 BC starter Kenneth Knapp was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Washington Generals, 5-2. Francisco Díaz sewed up the save, his 1st. Delaware occupies 7th place in the Silver A at 35-41.

Delaware used the timely hitting of José Moreno to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put the 1787 BC on top, 3-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Knapp.
