The Syracuse Storm topped the Grim Reapers, 6-1, in USSL Single A action at Storm Park. The player of the game was Syracuse pitcher and Livonia, Michigan native Kevin Moran. The 'W' lifts Syracuse's record to 38-37.
Russell Hamilton hit a bases-clearing triple off Jarko Aravirta in the bottom of the third, which put the Storm in front, 3-1. Hamilton had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Moran.
