Anderson Lays Hammer Down in 3-0 Win
|
Mancelona starter Jordon Glen Anderson pitched effectively against the Washington Generals at Torch Field. The left-hander led his team to a 3-0 win. Danny Byrd was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 4 of 6 save opportunities. Mancelona is 35-37 and Washington, with the loss, 33-39.
Anderson ran roughshod over the Washington lineup. The left-hander allowed just 3 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 13. With the victory, he goes to 6-8 on the season.
