Victory Over Generals Takes Grim to 39-25
|
Grim pitcher Roberto Días did his part in helping his team beat the Washington Generals, 8-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Grim reliever Roberto Días got the win, raising his record to 4-0. Ricky Mina was tagged with the loss. Grim's record now stands at 39-25, placing them second in the Silver A.
Grim relied on the hitting of Mark Green to pick up the win. The right fielder ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the first inning to put the Reapers on top, 1-0. For the game, Green had 1 triple and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Días told the Grim Daily.
