Davis Sensational for Storm
|
The Syracuse Storm did just enough to secure a 2-1 victory over the Washington Generals at Washington Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Jeff Davis, who captured player of the game honors. At 32-31, the Storm are currently 5th in the Silver A.
Davis was effective against the Generals, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Washington to just 1 run on 4 hits over 8 innings.
"It feels good to get this one," Davis told the Syracuse Daily News.
