Mancelona right-hander Javier Téllez pitched his team to a shutout win, 1-0, over the Niagara Falls Expos. Eric Blevins was credited with the save for Mancelona, his 2nd of the season. The 5th-place Torch improved to 27-27.
Téllez overpowered the Expos. The Mancelona right-hander allowed 2 hits over 8 innings, while recording 10 punchouts. With the win, he is 4-2 on the season.
