Heinonen Sensational for Storm
|
Syracuse starter Ari Heinonen had a strong outing against the Delaware 1787 BC at Carrier Field. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 2-0 win. Syracuse goes to 25-25, Delaware to 23-27.
Delaware could barely put a dent in Heinonen. The left-hander tossed 103 pitches over 8 innings for the Storm, allowing only 4 hits.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Heinonen, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
