Expos Prevail, 5-3, Over Washington
|
Niagara Falls right-hander Tony De Jesús made an effective start against the Washington Generals at Waterfall Park, leading his team to a 5-3 win. Even with the win, the Expos have a dismal 13-34 record.
Niagara Falls took a 4-0 lead on Nick O'Quigley's 9th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which O'Quigley hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Washington pitcher Ricky Mina shaking his head.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," O'Quigley told the Niagara Falls Gazette.
