Carroll Sensational for Hawks
|
It was a fun time at Hawks Field, where the Washington Generals and Laredo Hawks tangled.
Laredo Hawks starter Cooper Carroll was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Washington Generals, 4-0. Jack Elvidge recorded the save for Laredo, his 1st of the season.
Carroll's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 9 strikeouts in 6 innings while allowing 1 hit. Carroll, who is tied for 6th in the SA in strikeouts with 64, goes to 5-0 on the year with 64 strikeouts.
"I just made my pitches," said Carroll, "and the ball kept missing the bat."
Laredo is now riding a 3-game win streak.
