Bigro Fires Shutout in Mangos Win
Jorge Bigro of the Kingston Mangos spun his magic on the Niagara Falls Expos today. He blanked them 7-0 on 7 hits, registering 8 strikeouts and 1 walk.

"The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Bigro said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down."

Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Kingston skipper said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations."

"Jorge pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said.

So far this season Bigro has compiled a 3-4 record with a 3.44 ERA.
